Seeds Stage
Groundnut crop is grown in the kharif and summer seasons. Moderate and well-drained land is suitable for groundnut cultivation. Kharif sowing should be done in July and the summer season in January. Germination stage
Germination is complete after 8 days after sowing. The seeds grow white roots under the soil and young leaves appear above the soil. In this stage, the soil should be moist. If good quality seeds are used, the germination of the crop is good.
Seeding Stage Of Groundnut
30 days after the sowing of the groundnut crop, the root of the crop starts producing small pods in the soil. Meanwhile, two weddings at 15-20 days intervals and two weddings at 10-12 days intervals should be done to keep the crop weed free for up to 45 days.
Flowering stage
At the time of flowering, this crop requires a day temperature of 24 to 25 degrees Celsius, otherwise, there is a high chance of adversely affecting the flowering capacity. The crop starts flowering when the crop is 20 to 30 days old. The groundnut crop produces yellow flowers. During this time, the crop needs a lot of water. It is beneficial to water the crop with the help of mist or drip irrigation after weeding the crop.
Plant With Fruit
When the crop is 65 to 70 days old, the pod-filling stage begins. In this stage, the pods of the groundnut crop begin to fill. There are 2 to 3 seeds in a pod.
Harvesting stage of groundnut
Groundnut should be harvested as soon as the leaves turn yellow and the shell of the pods becomes firm and black inside. Groundnut crop is harvested with the help of laborers
Groundnut Oil Extraction Process
Groundnut pods are cracked and groundnuts are obtained from them. The groundnuts are dried in the sun for 2 days to remove moisture. The waste is removed from it. Then the oil is extracted on a wooden ghana machine. No pressure is applied while extracting the oil. And also no chemicals are mixed in it to keep the oil for a long time. The oil is filtered with a cotton cloth. And the oil is packed in bottles. The oil is ready for sale.
