Seeds Sowing

The Vegatative Stage Of Sesame
Thinning or filling the trenches After 7 to 8 days of sowing, the trenches should be filled. The first thinning should be done after 15-20 days and the second after 8 days after sowing, keeping a distance of 10 to 15 cm between the two plants. It should be irrigated after 12 to 15 days.
Flowering Stage Of Sesame
After sowing, the crop starts flowering when the crop is 25 to 30 days old. White-colored flowers appear on the sesame crop. When the crop is in the flowering stage, 2% urea is sprayed, increasing the number of flowers and increasing the yield. The sesame plant has a bitter smell when it is in flower so wild animals do not disturb the plant.
Fruit Stage Of Sesame
In the flowering stage, after the crop gets the right temperature and climate, the crop starts bearing fruits. In rural areas, it is called Dodya. In the fruiting stage, the plant splits and bears fruits.
Harvesting Stage Of Sesame
When the color of the leaves turns yellow and the leaves begin to fall, the color of the bonda turns yellow, the crop is ready for harvest. It should be understood. If the harvest is delayed, there is a possibility that the pods will swell and the sesame seeds will fall due to the heat. If the harvest is early, the grains should be finely chopped and the straws of the cut trees should be kept upright. After the sesame seeds are well dried, separate the sesame seeds by inverting them on a straw cloth or tarpaulin then dry them properly in the sun and then store them.
Sesame Oil Extraction Process
After harvesting the sesame seeds, they are dried in the sun for 2 to 3 days. The waste is removed. Then the oil is extracted on a wooden ghana machine. No pressure is applied during the oil extraction. The oil is filtered with cotton cloth and the oil is packed in bottles and ready for sale.
